FloodMaster Model Comparisons

"We have 3 dedicated flood trucks.  One of them is a FloodMaster.  It's the "one of choice"- the one our guys prefer to take out on a job."     -Mason Venable, American Restoration, Shelby, N.C.

FloodMasters  are our dedicated flood extraction systems.  They feature “bullet- proof” centrifugal continuous discharge pumps capable of pumping 50 gallons per minute and running dry without damage.  The “unlimited recovery capacity” makes them well- suited for very large jobs at which continuous discharge to approved areas is allowed.  They are also well- suited for installation dedicated flood and remediation in vans in which maximum cargo space for other equipment is desired.

Common Features to All FloodMaster Models:

  • Direct- coupled drive configuration
  • Change drive couplings and belt in less than 10 minutes
  • Roots DSL “no grease” vacuum pumps
  • Run- dry centrifugal continuous discharge pump:  50 GPM
  • Waste water Separation Tank is made of 304 Stainless Steel
  • Enhanced silencing system for low noise levels suitable for night work, made of 304 Stainless
  • Super- compact 21” W x 48” L footprint, includes heater and tank

The drive method used in these systems is direct- coupled, featuring unique innovations for quick and easy alignment and replacement of the drive coupling when necessary.  Alignment is easy to check and simple to adjust.  The commonly available Lovejoy #7 coupling insert is the connector between engine and blower.

  • Engine “Slide Plate” allows for simple, quick de-coupling of engine / blower
  • Blower “Leveling Plate” allows for precise “dial- in” adjustment of alignment
  • Drive ratio between engine and blower is 1 to 1

Flood Masters have been designed from the ground up to be solid workhorses that deliver unparalleled performance. Like our other systems, they feature our “UltraFlow” approach to airflow in the vacuum system. This means that performance- robbing airflow restriction is virtually eliminated.

  • Diameter of vacuum airways is as large as the vacuum port of the blower
  • Exhaust plumbing is larger than the exhaust port of the blower
  • Vacuum airways are as short as possible
  • 90- degree turns in the vacuum airways are eliminated where possible
  • When 90 degree turns cannot be avoided, oversized ”sweeps” are used.

All FloodMaster systems feature the UltraFlow in- line filter, for trouble- free operation of the discharge system.  In keeping with our “UltraFlow” philosophy, these stainless steel filtration units provide for maximum airflow.

  • 2.5” plumbing between the machine and the UltraFlow filter.
  • Extra- large 3 gallon filter size for even the largest jobs
  • Stainless Steel, perforated metal filter with 1/8” mesh
  • External location can be mounted where convenient for space concerns
  • Filter is easy to remove and replace for clean- out purposes.
